The Role of Biomedical Analyst

As a biomedical analyst with a focus on clinical physiology, you will independently work with our methods both individually and in a team, so you need to be comfortable in both situations. In the team, you will work together to maintain a good working environment and achieve the common goals of the organization.

The role is a temporary position for 10 months, starting as agreed. Working hours are during the day, weekdays.

Your Future Workplace

Clinical physiology is a regional clinic; we are located at Ryhov, Värnamo Hospital, and Högland Hospital. We are now looking for someone who wants to work in Clinical Physiology at Högland Hospital. We are a growing workplace, currently a happy team of 63 people in the region. In Eksjö, we are currently 7 people, some of whom are on parental leave. Due to upcoming parental leave, we wish to strengthen the group.

Clinical physiology at Högland Hospital performs examinations such as 24-hour ECG including analysis, ultrasound of the heart and vessels, EEG, and bone density measurement. At Clinical Physiology, we meet high standards for examination and response quality, technical quality, and organization. Therefore, we are proud that clinical physiology is accredited according to the international standard SS-EN ISO/15189.

Your Profile

We are now looking for you who want to be part of our friendly staff group in clinical physiology, Högland Hospital. You are a qualified biomedical analyst with a focus on clinical physiology. We prefer that you have previous experience working with examinations in clinical physiology; if you also have experience with heart ultrasound, we see it as a positive.

To thrive in the role, it is essential that you are self-driven and take initiative in your work. You independently structure your work from planning and prioritization to execution and evaluation. You have good verbal communication skills and are flexible, seeing opportunities in change. Clinical physiology is constantly evolving, and to enjoy your work, it is important that you like to work in a developing environment, where we advocate that you also work on improvement efforts to enhance quality, tackle the challenges we face, and improve workflows in the workplace.

You will help structure the patient flow in Clinical Physiology regarding planning and prioritization to meet our patients in the best way. As you have the ability to work independently, you use your skills to carry out and evaluate your examinations in the best way. You will be part of a group where we work towards common goals. Therefore, it is important that you can collaborate easily and enjoy working towards shared objectives.
